If you enjoy being mechanical and learning how to operate equipment, this is the perfect job for you. To live
with lawn / garden and construction equipment a big advantage, but not obligatory, we will train ourselves.
Professional responsibilities
• Identifies / understands client needs through questioning and qualification; offers an alternative
equipment suggestions to customers, if applicable.
• Place orders for equipment by obtaining customer information (verify customer account or obtain
credit request for new customer); finalize details on when, where and what equipment is
obligatory; selects the equipment / merchandise from inventory and places the rental / purchase order in the
computer system (including cash rentals)
• Secures equipment by verifying equipment availability with store (conducts research to determine
when unavailable equipment becomes available); Administer rental contracts (new and existing)
including rental dates, prices and all incidental costs, modifications, suspensions (ensuring
prompt collection of equipment), terminations (ensuring all incidentals are billed), deposit of
contracts and related documents, and verification of invoices and credit notes against contract files
• Support after-sales service by sourcing parts, creating purchase orders and submitting orders to
Sellers; Receive orders and contact the appropriate department when parts arrive.
• Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner in order to resolve the complaint at the
customer satisfaction and Service Rentals & Sales Ltd.
Support sales and marketing efforts by forwarding sales leads and inbound inquiries to sales
staff and acting as a marketing liaison for product promotions
• May be responsible for other duties, including storage and maintenance of store showroom merchandise,
loading and unloading of equipment, dispatching, timing and / or basic maintenance
to the equipment.
