As part of the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission initiative, women entrepreneurs in SHGs will benefit from mentoring and support through intensive training and capacity building workshops to develop their business enterprises. .

Up to 5,000 women will participate in entrepreneur workshops, 500 will benefit from enterprise scale training and 100 will be selected for enterprise mentorship under the SAATH initiative, said an official spokesperson.

Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor noted that the specially designed “SAATH” platform will be a major contributor to the socio-economic improvement of women in rural and semi-urban areas.
